I certainly hope that we’ll be able to spend some time together celebrating the inclusion of works by Kinngait artist Shuvinai Ashoona in this year’s Biennale de Venezia. It’s the second time that a member artist of the West Baffin Eskimo Cooperative has participated; Kananginak Pootoogook was posthumously included in 2017.
